Medicube Expands PDRN Collagen Products with New Applicators
Medicube is launching new skincare and body care products featuring integrated applicators, like a gua sha tool and a jelly brush, to enhance absorption.

Medicube is integrating applicators directly into product packaging to enhance absorption and ease of use across skincare and body care lines. This move includes a PDRN Collagen Gua Sha Neck Wrinkle Cream with a built-in gua sha tool in the tube and a Collagen Wrapping Mask that comes with a jelly brush applicator.
PDRN and collagen in topical formulations
Despite topical collagen’s limitations, Medicube leverages PDRN and collagen in masks and treatments to support hydration, barrier function, and temporary plumping effects. Collagen is essential to skin’s firmness and elasticity, but its molecules are too large to penetrate skin and replace lost collagen. In skin care, it primarily acts as a moisturizer, helping skin look temporarily plumper and smoother.
Jane Yoo, MD, explained the science behind another key ingredient: "PDRN, short for polydeoxyribonucleotide, refers to DNA fragments most commonly derived from salmon DNA and has been studied for wound healing and tissue regeneration." Medicube’s Collagen Wrapping Mask is a peel-off mask meant to be worn overnight for seven to eight hours. It dries into a soft, flexible film that seals in ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and ceramides.
Expansion beyond skincare into hair, body, and fragrance
The brand has broadened its portfolio to include shampoos, conditioners, body washes, and fragrance mists featuring actives like hyaluronic acid and salicylic acid. The Rosemary PDRN Shampoo and Conditioner set contains salicylic acid to cut through scalp buildup, plus multiple forms of hyaluronic acid and hydrolyzed proteins. The Kojic Acid Turmeric Brightening Body Wash comes in a giant pump bottle.
Medicube has also entered the fragrance category. The Glow Vanilla Hair & Body Fragrance Mist contains seven forms of hyaluronic acid and features scent notes of vanilla, coconut, pistachio, caramel, amber, cashmere woods, and sandalwood.
Dermatologist and influencer validation
Medicube has a cult following among skin care enthusiasts, celebrities, and dermatologists. New York dermatologist Shereene Idriss, MD, endorses the brand for pushing the boundaries of at-home skin care and pairing products with devices. She specifically likes the Booster Pro X2 device for offering seven treatment modes, highlighting Dual Mode for jawline definition and Booster Mode for using electroporation to optimize skin-care absorption.
Influencers and editors also validate the products. Britt Fallon recommends a jelly cream for moisturizing and addressing signs of aging. Taryn Brooke, a contributing writer at NewBeauty, notes a multi-purpose balm acts as a makeup primer and fine-line smoother, containing vitamin E and caffeine to reduce puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines. She uses it on her forehead, lips, nasolabial folds, and neck lines.
Other standout products include a spicule serum marketed as a 'liquid microneedling' treatment, though it can cause a prickling sensation and is better suited for experienced users. A PDRN-containing product, a favorite of Kylie Jenner, combines PDRN with peptides and niacinamide to leave skin hydrated, plump, and dewy. For breakout-prone skin, pads contain succinic, salicylic, and glycolic acids to unclog pores, though they may irritate sensitive skin. Simple gel masks, favored by Lady Gaga, Kendall Jenner, and Dua Lipa, leave skin looking plump and glowy. A wrinkle-plumping cream delivered such a noticeable glass-skin glow that one user's husband thought she was wearing highlighter. New hydrogel masks pair NAD+ and EGF to hydrate skin and improve smoothness and firmness. The brand's pore pads are praised by fans for reducing excess oil, minimizing pore appearance, and smoothing texture. Alix Earle revealed in a TikTok video that Medicube’s pore pads were on her dermatologist’s recommended list.
